Membership Benefits
Our mission is to assist town residents, age 60 and above, who want to remain in their homes while maintaining quality of life, engagement in the community, and managing daily living activities.
Examples of the activities we support include:
Transportation
- Getting to appointments such as medical, hair salon, lawyer
- Social engagements to meet friends for lunch, attend concerts, classes, or movies
- Participate in activities at Barnstable Adult Community Center, local libraries, religious services
- Run errands, grocery shop, bank, vote

Household Assistance
- Putting away groceries, making simple repairs, organizing cabinets
- Changing light bulbs, moving deck furniture, planting flowers
Technology
- Software help and tutoring with devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops
- TV remotes and programming

Types of Services We Cannot Provide
- Medical, personal and respite care
- Work that requires licensed professionals like plumbing and electrical
- Fiduciary assistance such as managing a checkbook or paying bills
